At Barkn'licious, we believe every dog deserves treats that are not only delicious, but packed with real nutrition.

For us, that journey began with our beloved Labradoodle, Ooni.

Like many pet parents, we trusted the labels on supermarket treats until we started looking deeper. Watching the documentary Pet Fooled opened our eyes to how many unnecessary fillers, artificial additives, and low-quality ingredients find their way into everyday pet treats.

Finding good treats shouldn't be so hard. Yet all too often, even products marketed as "natural" or "healthy" fell short.

We've seen burnt jerky from high-temperature processing, chicken feet with sharp claws still attached, and products that simply lacked the freshness and care we wanted for our own dog.

So we decided to make them ourselves.

Not rushed.

Not compromised.

Just better.

That's how Barkn'licious Dog Treats was born. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just naturally good treats, made with real care.

It all starts with quality, locally sourced ingredients and premium Australian proteins.

Our handcrafted range of treats and toppers is gently air-dried at no more than 75°C. While this slower process takes time, it helps preserve more of the natural nutrients, flavour, and aroma dogs love.

Because the details matter.

We hand-slice our jerky, trim excess fat from our beef tendons and trachea, and remove the sharp claws from every chicken and duck foot.

These aren't the fastest ways to make treats—but they're the only way we'd make them for Ooni.

Today, we're still a small Australian family business doing things the exact same way we did from day one—choosing quality over shortcuts and care over convenience.

Because every dog deserves treats as pure as the love they give us.
